Hey everyone, welcome and thank you for checking out my page.  I am the feature reporter and on-air personality for Madison's CW. We bring you local and positive stories called "Buzzed Into Madison", during the Daily Buzz, weekdays from 6-9 am. You can find us locally on channel 57 and charter cable channel 2. We'll help you start your day off right and with a laugh.

People ask me all the time….”Are you a Wisconsin Girl?” and I am proud to answer, YES!

I grew up in Racine County with my wonderful parents, and two younger sisters. We’ve always loved rooting for the Pack and Brew Crew, and whenever possible enjoying the traditional Friday night Fish Fry.  

I went to school at UW-Whitewater where I double-majored in Broadcast/Journalism and Physical Education. I have my license to teach PE K-12 and actually spent the first four months of post graduation substituting in my hometown of Union Grove, until I received the call from the CW to come to Madison!

Favorites

Hobbies- running, teaching yoga, lifting weights, golfing, fishing….anything outdoors!

Foods – Homemade smoothies, chips and salsa and anything from my mom’s kitchen.

Movies – Grumpy and Grumpier Old Men, A League of their Own

Traditions- My family has so many, but a few of my favs are the Pickle contest at Christmas, coloring Easter eggs, making birthday signs and dance-a thons.

Fun Facts

1. I grew up showing hogs in 4-H.

2. I have very odd shaped thumbs that I inherited from my Grandpa Rohner, and I love them for that.

3. I was named after both of my great grandmothers.
